IMAGE 1: Creative Work - "Remember"
The photograph above shows a product which I designed for the HSC Design & Technology Major Project in 2010. The product, "Remember" is a contemporary version of the traditional home shrine, common in some Chinese family homes. It was designed to help symbolize the lives of my family's lost loved ones while matching the modern decor of my home. "Remember" is based on a combination of minimalist design as well as Biomimicry.
IMAGE 2: Architectural Work - The HSBC Building Hong Kong
Designed by the eminent British architect, Lord Norman Foster in the mid-1980s, the building laid the foundations
of what is sometimes referred to as high-tech architecture. It stands as one of the testaments to Hong Kong's position
as a world financial centre. Today, its steel exoskeleton structure continues to make the building unique to the more minimalist approach of glass facades and concrete in the surrounding area.

IMAGE 3: Original Photograph - Spiral Staircase of the Louvre Museum, Paris
For me, this photograph represents a mixture of motion and stability. In the background, the glass pyramid stands firm,
a strong, supported structure. On the other hand, the spiral staircase suggests movement and spontaneity.
Aside from these points however, for me, the mixture here also reminds me of my friends, with whom I visited
Paris in 2010 and took this photograph.
